I am a registered and accredited member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists) and a registered and accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists).

My background is mainly in care, I have worked with many vulnerable client groups; children, the homeless, those with learning disabilities, people with mental health issues and the elderly. I also spent several years working at the Cambridge Buddhist Centre. I am a practising Buddhist but I have no wish to convert anybody, I welcome clients from all spiritual traditions and none. I am a husband and a father of two children.

I have been working in private practice for 10 years and I am currently a partner in Cambridge Counselling Service. I also spent 5 years employed directly by the NHS as Part of a Community Counselling Service.

During this time I have worked successfully with a wide range of issues including experiences of bereavement, relationship issues, depression, anger, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, low self-confidence, work related issues and a search for meaning in life. I have worked with people from various backgrounds, cultures and life-experiences - university students and teachers, doctors, businessmen, workers in many other fields and the unemployed.
